The Product team at Feedonomics
Our Product team uses creativity, insights, and operational excellence to steer our product vision across Feedonomics. This dynamic team of product managers, designers, and project managers work in a highly collaborative environment to build the products and experiences that make an impact on the world of eCommerce and beyond.
The Role
Feedonomics is seeking an experienced Senior Product Management to lead the development and enhancement of our solutions in the e-commerce ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and expertise in online sales and advertising channels (e.g. e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, search, affiliate). As a Senior Product Manager, you will drive strategic product initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and shape the future of our integration technology solutions to deliver exceptional value to our customers.
The Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning, development, and execution for one or more key product areas to deliver a high-quality product experience.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs
- Collaborate closely with other product managers, engineering, design, sales, and customer support teams to define product requirements and priorities based on market insights and business objectives.
- Collaborate effectively to decompose intricate projects into smaller, more manageable tasks, progressively enhancing customer value with each iteration.
- Communicate business outcomes and performance metrics to key stakeholders throughout the organization.
- Prioritize feature backlog and allocate resources effectively to deliver high-impact product releases in a timely manner.
- Create comprehensive narratives for Stories and Epics, and communicate all pertinent details to the development team(s) throughout the development process, including planning and grooming meetings.
- Collaborate closely with the Design team to create prototypes for new features.
- Verify the viability of new features by soliciting feedback from platform users and key stakeholders prior to development.
- Demonstrate new features to stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and customers.
- Manage the product and sprint backlog in Jira, ensuring clarity and up-to-date data.
- Analyze and measure the impact of product enhancements, iterating continually to optimize performance.
The Requirements
- 5+ years experience in Product Management.
- Proven experience in developing and managing products within the e-commerce industry, including a deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, technologies, and market dynamics.
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- eCommerce carts (BigCommerce, Shopify, etc.)
- Advertising platforms (Google Shopping, Facebook, etc.)
- Marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Walmart, etc.)
- You possess an entrepreneurial mindset, with a bias for customer-centric innovation.
- You understand the life cycle of a product as it relates to product catalogs, inventory management, product listings, and order management.
- You demonstrate a bias for action, consistently driving initiatives forward.
- You have a proven track record of leading successful product initiatives and driving product growth in a fast-paced environment.
- You have a technical background or technical orientation, enough to get in the weeds with engineers to understand the pros and cons of different technologies, designs, and potential solutions.
- You possess strong UX instincts and while you won't be responsible for independent designs, you will collaborate effectively with design and research colleagues.
- You're great at communicating and negotiating with cross-functional teams.
- You possess a strong ability to influence others, fostering strong collaboration, even when there are differing viewpoints.
- You're curious and love trying new things. You ask yourself “Why did they build it that way?” or “What would happen if…?”
- You get excited about tackling big, complicated, and often ambiguous problems.
- You understand that human behavior is complex and changing behaviors is a lot harder than building features and technology.
- You have excellent written and oral communication skills.

Education
- BA/BS degree, preferably in CS or Engineering

Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range (or have the minimum apply to them), but rather, the exact salary will be dependent on the successful candidate’s location, relevant knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
Targeted salary range: $101,000—$170,000 USD
