Role overview: 

Nursa is seeking a Billing Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle Team. This key role will focus on ensuring accurate and timely billing processes, handling escalations, responding to inquiries professionally and efficiently, and generating detailed weekly reports. The Billing Specialist will use their expertise and judgment to support our customers while adhering to industry standards and company best practices. As an integral member of Nursa’s finance team, the Billing Specialist will contribute to maintaining seamless financial operations and outstanding customer service.

This is an international contractor role. You must be located outside of the US and able to work MT hours (8am-5pm MT). Monthly salary for the role is $1,800-$2,200 USD depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently oversee and execute invoicing responsibilities.

  • Research invoicing discrepancies to ensure accuracy.

  • Communicate directly with customers (generally via email, and occasionally by phone) regarding invoices inquiries.

  • Work closely with the AR, Cash Management, and Operations team regularly.

  • Assist in the preparation of weekly billing reports.

  • Meets regularly with the Manager to review the status of billing, special projects, and problematic or unusual accounts.

  • Other duties as assigned to support the Revenue Cycle Team.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • High collaborative IQ and able to think outside the box.

  • Ability to learn new programs (NetSuite, SalesForce Service Cloud, etc.).

  • Self-motivated, initiative, adaptive, and prioritization skills.

  • Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Outstanding organizational skills.
