Topcon Positioning Business Unit is looking for a motivated and committed

Business Development Manager, Building Construction  

JOB PURPOSE:

The Business Development Manager will prospect potential construction tool, supply and service providers to become Topcon Building Construction distributors.

They will present compelling business cases, develop go-to-market strategies, and assist with the legal onboarding process.

Additionally, they will provide industry insights, product training and collaborate with marketing to develop marketing campaigns that support distributor growth and market penetration to ensure the new distributors achieve early and sustained success

CORE JOB DUTIES

  • Commercial expert in our Building Construction solutions
  • Finding new and managing exiting distributors for our Building Construction solutions
  • Promote our Building Construction solutions by various publicity and visibility activities, and working with our Marketing Team on strategic marketing activities
  • Create and drive a strategic business plan for our Building Construction solutions within a specific country/region
  • Proactively work with Product Management to ensure our solution meets customer expectations and market potential
  • Proactively work with our Operations Team to ensure the logistics, ordering and delivery activities are optimized

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience

  • B.A and/or M.B.A in Business and/or Construction Industry
  • Experience with identifying and finding distributors
  • Experience with managing price books and margins

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

  • Familiar with Building Construction trades layout process
  • The ability to present to decision makers and business owners are a regular basis
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong follow-up skills
  • Experience in sales, business development and/or marketing
  • Fluent in German and English language

This is a hybrid role working remote in Germany
