Major Responsibilities

· Serve as an information technology advisor and liaison providing eDiscovery & digital forensic support to legal & compliance teams within Advocate Aurora.

· Provide advanced eDiscovery & digital forensic services including digital evidence preservation, analysis, data recovery, reporting, audio/video forensics, electronic mail extraction, database examinations, and others.

· Perform a broad range of activities supporting the analysis of technical and legal issues pertaining to investigations.

· Provide technical expertise to assist investigative staff in the analysis, evaluation, and determination of the most efficient and effective approach to collect, store, search, and produce documents and electronically stored information (ESI).

· Provide digital forensic support that requires an advanced knowledge of international and industry-related digital forensic accreditation standards.

· Manage and deliver regular reporting to internal counsel, in-house teams, and outside counsel.

· Conduct risk analysis of HIT applications, physical sites, and other technologies identified.

· Assist in preparing, and at times presenting before organizational leadership, staff, government, and other external audiences.

· Manage and enhance appropriate governance, risk management and compliance (GRC) processes and tools to efficiently manage AAH risk.

· Coordinate all efforts to effectively identify, report and mediate all security control gaps and findings.

Licensure / Certification / Education Requirement

Certification required within one year of hire:

· Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE)

· EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE)

· Certified Forensic Examiner (CFCE)

· Digital Forensic Certified Practitioner (DFCP)

· GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously.

Proven advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills including the ability to advise and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative environment.

Familiarity with eDiscovery software such as O365 Security & Compliance, Archer, Splunk, etc. strongly preferred

Must have strong data analysis skills (Tableau, Power BI, MS Access, Excel)
