Job description

On behalf of one of our partners BeeCastle, Simple Machines is looking for a part-time Technical Consultant to join their Sydney team.  You will play a vital role in maintaining technical excellence and operational efficiency, with a primary focus on the BeeCastle.com platform and its customers.

BeeCastle is an Australian born SaaS business with global ambitions. Our mission is to help technology companies and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) grow their business through better relationship management.

 

To do that we provide the methodology, tools and data that enable MSP Account Managers to succeed and grow their existing accounts. With our actionable analytics platform, business leaders can ensure their team are having conversations about the right products, with the right people at the right time.

 

Our senior & passionate team have built a service we are proud of – one that is being actively used by forward-thinking technology companies in Australia and around the world. We are fully funded & are looking to enter a significant growth phase. This role is critical to that effort.

Requirements

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated individual with an excellent work ethic and a positive attitude. This role is a permanent part time remote position (1-2 days a week) that is flexible with study or other life commitments.

 

Key technical requirements:

 

  • 5 years’ experience in a technical hands-on engineering role
  • Experience in either Technical Support or Technical Customer Success Management role
  • Exceptional communication, customer service and presentation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a talent for identifying creative solutions
  • Programming / Scripting knowledge – Clojure, Node.js
  • Cloud-Native Database – MongoDB Atlas
  • Solid knowledge of IaaS – AWS Elastic Beanstalk. AWS SQS
  • Role and Responsibilities:
  • You will work remotely supporting our global customer base
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience to all customers, maintaining a positive and professional attitude in all interactions.
  • End-to-end ownership of all service requests including keeping relevant teams and customers informed of updates.
