Overview:

You will report to the Senior Director of Technical and Operational Accounting, rolling up under the Chief Accounting Officer org.

You will:  

  • Proactively manage activities of equity compensation administration and accounting.
  • Manage integrity of plan participants and equity data ensuring that the information is complete and accurate; process and monitor equity award activity, including grants and grant agreements, vesting shares, award exercises, and employee terminations/role changes. 
  • Manage equity compensation accounting activities and perform research and assessments over new accounting standards, or changes to existing policies related to equity compensation and associated external audit activities, as needed.
  • Prepare recurring and custom reports to support financial statement presentation and disclosures including, but not limited to Forms 10-Q/K, beneficial ownership disclosures, proxy statements and other reports filed with the SEC.
  • Prepare equity forecasts and assist with equity compensation budgeting tasks.
  • Analyze and communicate performance of equity plans and grant practices to executive staff and internal stakeholders. Assist with the Compensation Committee and Board materials.
  • Fulfill tax related support requests to internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Implement and maintain best practices with effective SOX controls.
  • Manage participant equity educational materials.
  • Collaborate with Legal, People Operations, Finance and other stakeholders on equity compensation matters to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory, internal and external reporting and requirements for equity plans and disclosures.
  • Work with the junior team members to establish goals and objectives. Monitor and advise on the progress against these goals and objectives to enhance professional development.
  • Assist with various operational accounting and external financial reporting tasks, including preparing SEC Forms 10-Q and 10-K, reviewing supporting schedules underlying the financial information.
  • Assist in ad hoc projects focused on automation and process improvements.

You have:

  • Minimum 6 years of progressive accounting/stock plan administration experience.
  • Strong knowledge of equity accounting and administration.
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting standards.
  • Active CPA license preferred, but not required.
  • Analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.
  • Familiarity with Fidelity, Workiva and SAP is a big plus.
  • Willingness to learn quickly and adapt to a high growth environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident and polished interpersonal skills with willingness to engage with senior management and inter-departmental leaders.
  • Strong Excel skills (formula design, pivot tables, charts).
  • Experience with and/or ability to manage and develop staff.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. 

Benefits:

The salary range for this role will be between $110,000 to $145,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors, including, but not limited to your location, skills, experience, education, and/or professional certifications. During the phone screening, your recruiter will provide the location-specific salary range for this role.
