Overview of the Role

As the FP&A and Business Operations Manager at FRVR, you’ll be at the intersection of strategic finance, business analytics, and operational execution. This isn’t your traditional FP&A role—it’s an opportunity to shape financial forecasts and drive key business decisions by analyzing and optimizing business metrics.

You’ll create insightful dashboards, track and forecast revenue, and support cross-functional initiatives. Your work will directly influence how we track and evaluate the performance of our business units, measure success, and chart our course for growth. You’ll also prepare board materials, ensuring stakeholders understand the data that drives our decisions.

You will report directly to the COO, shaping the business strategy & performance of FRVR.

Key Areas of Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support decision-making across the organization.
  • Analyze key revenue and cost drivers to identify growth opportunities and areas of improvement.
  • Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Business Analytics & Metrics Tracking
  • Build and refine dashboards to track business performance and KPIs in real-time
  • Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for business leaders.
  • Partner with teams to define and measure success metrics for ongoing projects
Strategic Operations & Initiative Support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor and track the progress of key initiatives.
  • Support the creation of board presentations and investor materials that highlight key metrics and business performance
  • Drive efficiency and scalability in operations through process improvements and data-driven decisions
Performance Management
  • Evaluate and report on the performance of business units, identifying trends and areas for optimization
  • Collaborate closely with business leaders to forecast revenue and set performance goals

We are looking for someone with:
Experience & Skills
  • Proven experience in FP&A, business analytics, or similar roles, preferably in high-growth or tech-driven environments
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and dashboard creation using Excel, Sigma, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Deep understanding of business metrics and their role in decision-making

  • Ability to translate data insights into strategic direction
  • Creative problem-solver with an entrepreneurial approach to complex challenges
Collaboration & Communication
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to work across teams and influence without direct authority
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in translating complex data into clear, actionable insights

If you also have these experiences, it will be a bonus:
  • A degree in Finance, Management Accounting, or Economics.
  • 2–4 years of experience in FP&A or as a Controller, ideally in a startup environment.
  • Experience in Strategy & Business Operations
  • Proficiency in English with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • A detail-oriented, data-driven, and analytical mindset.
  • Excellent at data visualisation and business storytelling
  • Quick learning abilities with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency (ability to manage multiple complex formulas)
