As a Regional Manager, this is what you’ll be doing:

QS is seeking a Regional Manager to grow the current business in a region in China and drive client/prospect engagement activities for sustainable long term growth. The role will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets in a given region and be able to strategically communicate the value proposition of the QS brand, portfolio and suite of products to junior and senior level University/Industry/Government  stakeholders.

 

Role responsibilities

  • Achieve/Exceed yearly sales revenue targets for the given region in China market.
  • Develop and grow senior level relationships with University stakeholders.
  • Development of annual sales plan for China alongside regional colleagues leading to an increase in client acquisition in China.
  • Demonstrate ability and share best practice of how to manage the client acquisition cycle through regular online and in person touchpoints to drive sales.
  • You will also manage a high-profile quota of existing clients and will be expected to deliver a personal revenue target.
  • Become a highly trusted advisor to your clients and the sector and have a thorough knowledge of University strategies and targets.
  • Input into regular market communications and interfaces through QS channels into China
  • Gather and share market insights for product and service development.
  • Interfacing with marketing, sales and product teams at QS
  • Accurate and timely management of sales activities and sales pipeline through in house CRM
  • Any other duties as required


Key skills and experience

  • Strong experience of consultative sales experience and consistent target achievement
  • Strong sales process experience including pipeline and opportunity management, forecasting, territory and account planning, multi-channel client communication, client relationship building and account management.
  • A proven track record in the delivery of personal and team sales targets.
  • Experience and expertise in the use of various CRM platforms.
  • Effectively bilingual in English & Chinese, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
  • A great team ethic with an international outlook.
  • Educated to a degree or equivalent level.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a challenging and persuasive manner, to win and maintain the respect of your team and customers
  • Knowledge and experience in the international Higher Education sector.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, with a can-do attitude that seeks to drive high performance and loves the sales process.
