Job description

The Sales Representative is responsible for the day-to-day management of their territory customer base, incorporating salons, wholesalers and retailers. The role is to achieve corporate objectives including sales budgets, Statement of Work OW + and NCA objectives within their sales territory and support the States as and when required.

Your Role

  • Involvement in achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales volumes through the successful management of all accounts within the designated territory.
  • Accountable for driving horizontal distribution by actively identifying and regularly calling on potential new businesses on territory to grow market share. Develop and maintain a rolling target list of potential new salon partners.
  • Monitor and track progress vs KPIs using CPL / DSP / DSR on a regular basis.
  • Review with Sales Area Manager and identify and implement plans to deliver versus goals.
  • Building activity plans with customers and conduct regular business reviews to add value to the business. APT / Contract target management. Evaluate client growth through the analysis of sales patterns and treatment purchases.
  • Ensure all in-salon/retailer brand support, marketing and merchandising materials that endorse ongoing promotional efforts and create superior image are utilized and retail areas are merchandised effectively for the customer.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Previous sales experience within the beauty/haircare industry.
  • High level of negotiation, analytical and numeracy skill.
  • Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal.
  • Proven experience in acquiring new customers and building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Strong organisational and computer literacy skills such as MS Office.
