Job Description: Operations Manager

As we plan for growth and expansion into 2025, we are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to streamline and manage critical functions within our operations. This role is pivotal to ensuring seamless logistics, inventory management, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

  • Oversee and track inventory across all platforms, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

  • Develop and implement systems and tools (using software or spreadsheets) to optimize inventory tracking processes.

System Development and Optimization

  • Create and refine processes for operational activities, focusing on scalability and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement best practices for workflow improvement.

Documentation and Compliance Management

  • Collect, organize, and maintain product documentation, import/export paperwork, and compliance certifications.

  • Ensure all records are up-to-date and meet regulatory requirements.

Import/Export Coordination

  • Manage logistics with UPS and other agencies for the smooth movement of goods globally.

  • Ensure all customs and import/export documentation is accurate and compliant with regulations.

Forecasting and Inventory Planning

  • Analyze run rates, lead times, and market trends to create accurate inventory forecasts.

  • Develop models for purchase planning and ensure alignment with sales and marketing strategies.

Purchase Order (PO) Management

  • Issue and track purchase orders to manufacturers.

  • Coordinate with wholesalers and distributors to manage incoming orders.

Data and Certification Oversight

  • Own and maintain product, inventory, and certification data flow.

  • Ensure all data is accurate, accessible, and meets operational needs.

General Operations Duties

  • Take on additional operational tasks as needed to support company goals.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience: 5+ years in operations management, supply chain, or a similar role.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management tools and spreadsheet-based systems.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong background in forecasting, modeling, and data analysis.

  • Logistics Expertise: Hands-on experience managing import/export operations and compliance.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with vendors, manufacturers, and internal teams.

  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and system management.
