About Revolut

People deserve more from their money. More visibility, more control, more freedom. And since 2015, Revolut has been on a mission to deliver just that. With an arsenal of awesome products that span spending, saving, travel, transfers, investing, exchanging and more, we've helped 45+ million customers get more from their money. And we're not done yet.

As we continue our lightning-fast growth,‌ two things are essential to continuing our success: our people and our culture. We've been officially certified as a Great Place to Work™ in recognition of our outstanding employee experience! So far, we have 10,000+ people working around the world, from our great offices or remotely, on our mission. And we're looking for more. We want brilliant people that love building great products, love redefining success, and love turning the complexity of a chaotic world into the simplicity of a beautiful solution.

About the role

Our Technology team isn’t just one of the best in the industry, it’s one of the best in the world. And we’re proud of it. It’s our driving force; our engine 🚀

From building a new banking backend to creating an award-winning app, there’s nothing (and we mean nothing) our tech team can’t do. Our Technology team isn’t here to fix legacy systems — it’s here to build world-class financial products from the ground up. Products that will be used by millions of people around the world (35+ million people, not that we’re counting) 🌎

We're looking for an Operational Resilience Manager to join Revolut Bank UAB in order to oversee and enhance the bank’s ability to withstand and recover from disruptions, ensuring the continuity of critical operations and services. Our team is responsible for managing and overseeing the risks of outsourcing and other third party arrangements as well as operational resilience and business continuity management.

You'll be expected to collaborate with service owners, compliance, risk, and service delivery teams and ensure proper documentation as well as reporting deliverables related to operational resilience 📣

Up for the challenge? Let's get in touch 👇

What you’ll be doing

  • Developing and implementing operational resilience frameworks, policies, and strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across all business functions

  • Collaborating with functional teams to conduct risk assessments, business impact analysis, and scenario planning to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats to critical business functions

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive business continuity and exit plans, ensuring alignment with EU regulatory requirements and industry best practices

  • Evaluating and enhancing the effectiveness of existing resilience plans and processes, making recommendations for improvements

  • Designing and conducting testing, training, and simulation exercises to validate the effectiveness of continuity plans and enhance organisational readiness

  • Serving as liaison with external partners, vendors, and relevant stakeholders to align continuity efforts and maintain external dependencies

  • Monitoring and updating business continuity plans regularly, incorporating lessons learned from incidents and industry developments

  • Leading and coordinating response efforts during crises, guiding teams through recovery processes and ensuring minimal disruptions to business operations

  • Providing regular reports to senior management on the status of business continuity initiatives and recommended improvements

  • Continuously monitoring emerging risks and industry trends, adapting resilience strategies to evolving threats and business needs

What you'll need

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in operational resilience, risk management, or business continuity within the financial industry

  • A strong understanding of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to operational resilience and continuity planning

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities

  • Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies used for risk assessment, resilience, and continuity planning

Nice to have

  • A relevant certification (e.g. CBCP, ABCP)

Building a global financial super app isn’t enough. Our Revoluters are a priority, and that’s why in 2021 we launched our inaugural D&I Framework, designed to help us thrive and grow everyday. We're not just doing this because it's the right thing to do. We’re doing it because we know that seeking out diverse talent and creating an inclusive workplace is the way to create exceptional, innovative products and services for our customers. That’s why we encourage applications from people with diverse backgrounds and experiences to join this multicultural, hard-working team.
