Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:

Contract: Independent Contractor
Client Timezone: San Angelo, Texas


Responsibilities:
  • Manage and organize client appointments across multiple locations

  • Maintain and update the business owner’s calendar to prevent double-booking

  • Track and organize incoming client documents and communications

  • Assist with bookkeeping tasks for smaller company clients

  • Support with tax filing processes and back tax payment management

  • Ensure timely follow-up on client inquiries and document submissions

  • Coordinate between different office locations and co-working spaces

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in common bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

  • Experience with calendar management and scheduling software

  • Basic understanding of tax filing processes

  • Familiarity with cloud-based document storage systems (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox)

Scope:

  • Assist with document management and organization

  • Perform bookkeeping tasks for small business clients

  • Support tax filing and back tax payment processes

  • Maintain efficient calendar management across multiple locations

  • Minimum 20 hours per week, with potential for increased hours during tax season

  • Flexible Schedule anywhere between 8 AM to 5 PM Central time (20 hours per week)
