The Paid Search Specialist plays an essential role implementing and supporting paid search campaigns, including account setup, strategy development, organization, and management. Daily utilization of reporting, analytics, and trend tools is imperative, coupled with tasks such as keyword development, ad copy creation and testing, bid and budget management, and conducting campaign audits. Your role will involve prioritizing efforts to ensure the delivery of key objectives, tracking and reporting campaign results, and actively seeking process improvements for client success.

As the Paid Search Specialist you will:

  • Campaign Implementation & Management: Implement and support paid search campaigns, including account setup, strategy development, and effective organization.

  • Reporting and Analytics Usage: Utilize reporting, analytics, and trend tools on a daily basis to monitor campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.

  • Campaign Setup & Optimization: Lead campaign setup activities, encompassing keyword development, ad copy creation and testing, account setup and restructuring, and bid and budget management.

  • Tactical Execution & Audits: Oversee basic tactical execution of campaigns and conduct regular audits to ensure campaign effectiveness and alignment with best practices.

  • Prioritization and Reporting: Prioritize efforts, track and report on campaign results, perform data analysis, and engage in weekly client calls to ensure alignment with client goals.

  • Continuous Improvement: Consistently seek ways to improve processes, introducing new approaches contributing to client success, and effectively communicating insights based on campaign performance.

  • Campaign Planning & Design: Plan, design, and operate paid search campaigns, including launches, management, budget allocation, bid management, and A/B testing.

  • Reporting and Analysis: Track and monitor campaign results regularly, conduct Quarterly Business Reviews, and end-of-year analyses to derive insights and strategies.

  • Budget Maintenance & Monitoring: Maintain and monitor campaign budgets, ensuring proper pacing and allocation for optimal performance.

  • Client Communication: Communicate insights and findings derived from campaign performance effectively to clients.

Professional Qualifications:

  • 2.5+ years of hands-on experience in executing and managing high-impact paid search campaigns or related digital advertising roles.

  • Demonstrated expertise in efficiently managing monthly campaign budgets exceeding $50k, showcasing strategic budget allocation and optimization skills.

  • Proficiency in leveraging competitive reporting tools such as AdGooRoo, The Search Monitor, Compete, or Auction Insights, demonstrating an analytical approach to campaign insights.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, ensuring comprehensive data analysis and effective presentation of campaign performance reports and strategies.

  • Google Adwords (Fundamentals & Advanced) Certifications, complemented by additional certifications in digital marketing or advertising, showcasing dedication and mastery in the field.

  • Practical experience working with Google Analytics and proficiency in utilizing paid search platforms such as Marin, Kenshoo, or DS3, highlighting a comprehensive understanding of diverse advertising tools and platforms.
