Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • The Lead Scripter - Would be involved in developing PRASE scripts based on the specifications provided. This role would involve working very closely with the business analysts (more in a pair programming mode)
  • Extensive and demonstrable experience (at least 6 years in relation to:
  • Experience in some scripting language
  • Experience in writing SQL analysis which is required for data analysis.
  • Experience in unit testing of the developed code.
  • Working with customers, Business analysts in understanding the business requirements.
  • This would also involve creating documentation around scripts
  • Experience implementing North American Life & Annuity products on Policy Administration systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of Group and Individual North American L&A Insurance domain a definitive plus.
  • Estimating the effort required to build the scripts
  • Identifying opportunities to meet customer business objectives using business logic and configuring applications to meet those objectives

Mandatory Skills:

  • Degree in Math / related
  • Experience working in software companies building software in above areas for 5-10 years

Desired Skills:

  • Experience on Life, health, Annuity or supporting those products
  • Experience working on Production Support type of projects
