Join AstraZeneca as an Oncology Sales Manager for Breast Cancer, where you'll inspire and lead our Breast Cancer Sales Teams to deliver both existing and new treatments to patients. This unique opportunity allows you to collaborate with current Breast Cancer Sales Managers, defining team responsibilities upon your successful appointment. As the Oncology Sales Manager, you'll foster innovation and implement forward-thinking solutions to enhance the patient experience and align with AstraZeneca's dynamic strategic vision for Breast Cancer.

Accountabilities:

As an Oncology Sales Manager, you will provide strong people leadership to build a high-performing team through effective coaching, empowerment, and mentorship. You will build strategic and long-term partnerships with relevant Oncology influencers and decision makers in the complex Oncology ecosystem. You will seek to discover and meet the needs of internal and external customers by building relationships, assessing new insights, identifying strategic business opportunities, and delivering innovative solutions while managing multiple priorities and resources related to individual and group efforts. You will create a culture which encourages continued growth and provides consistent recognition while challenging self and the team to try new things for continuous self-development in current role and for future opportunities; redirect efforts as needed to deliver high productivity and quality of work from self and others.

Essential Skills/Experience:
• Minimum of 7-10 years pharmaceutical experience with at least 3 as a sales representative
• Demonstrated leadership skills, financial management, and written & oral communications skills.
• Solid understanding and/or experience in launching new products in highly specialized market (Oncology, Specialty)
• Previous exposure and/or experience in other functional areas (i.e. Brand Marketing) is ideal
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills resulting in effective collaboration across functional areas to drive positive outcomes aligned with the strategic direction
• Adaptability and strong advocate of change
• Demonstrated experience and mastery in delivering a cross functional solution-based approach (Key Account Management).

Desirable Skills/Experience:
• University degree in science and/or business
• Previous experience in sales management
• Track record of strong sales performance in Oncology or specialty care experience
• Background in diagnostics and/or a strong understanding of the diagnostic environment
• Experience in an alliance/partnership setting

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $138,000 to $188,000. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity as well as eligibility to participate in our long-term incentive program (if applicable to role).  Benefits offered include a competitive Flex Benefits & Retirement Savings Program, 4 weeks’ paid vacation, annual Personal Days, a variety of wellness-related leaves (paid and unpaid) as well as a Company-wide holiday shut-down between Christmas and New Years.
