This role is critical to the success of Quality Management System Transformation in Service Operations, providing the expertise needed to drive key projects and ensure alignment with our quality and service goals. This Role is Remote based in Colombia.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Plan, perform and implement process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma)
- Develop metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities
- Collect data to identify root cause of problems
- Measure performance against process requirements.
- Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality
- Deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control
- Manges the quality management system transformation program, program tools
- Provides expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, international medical device regulations standards such as ISO 13845 and their impact on Medtronic’s operations.
- Supports the quality assurance programs procedure and policies maintenance and their regular updates
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree administrative areas
- Five or more years of work experience in or Quality OR, business improvement projects, implement process improvement initiatives
- Fluent in English
- Excellent interpersonal and influence skills including efficient collaboration, effective negotiation, and creative problem solving
- Proficiency with MS Office and experience with networks and applications
- Working knowledge in Power BI and Data Visualization tools.
Expertise auditing experience to ISO13485, CAPA compliance and investigation techniques and experience with e-quality systems such as TrackWise, document and record control systems is advantageous
