Qualifications:
Licensed to practice law in jurisdiction, Minimum two years litigation experience.Key responsabilities:
- Represent GEICO in subrogation lawsuits
- Prepare legal documents and conduct research
Under general supervision, REPRESENTS GEICO in Subrogation and/or PIP lawsuits filed in courts of limited jurisdiction and, in the discretion of the Managing Attorney, in courts of unlimited jurisdiction and/or arbitration.
Essential Functions:
PREPARES and HANDLES pleadings, motions, and discovery, to including depositions/examinations before trial.
PROSECUTES by trial, arbitration, or mediation all matters assigned, as applicable.
RESEARCHES laws and PREPARES legal briefs, opinions, and memoranda.
RENDERS opinions on liability, damages, legal strategy, etc.
MEETS deadlines, statutory or otherwise.
ADHERES to the GEICO Code of Conduct, company policies and operating principles.
MEETS attendance standard of the business location, to perform necessary job functions and to facilitate interaction with management and co-workers.

Annual Salary
$116,000.00 - $182,000.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
