As the Territory Manager you will have the overall responsibility for the selling of the diabetes portfolio and achieving sales targets in line with the Danish Sales and marketing strategy for Zealand and Fyn. This is a strategic account development role identifying and liaising with key decision-makers and influencers. You will be required to work closely with the technical consultant and District Sales Manager to ensure successful business growth in the defined territory.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Selling and promoting our diabetes product and service portfolio in line with the Danish sales and marketing strategy through our Salesforce CRM
- Building strong ethical business relationships with customers to ensure usage of our products and gain greater market share by leading through clinical selling
- Developing, implementing and maintaining strategic plans, fiscal year objectives, quarterly action plans and sales call logs for all accounts in Salesforce on a daily basis
- Use key reports/data to analyze territory/ account performance to maximize business growth
- Keeping up to date with health-economics, reimbursement and tender processes with potential to influence tender outcomes
- Build – together with sales manager – strong and lasting business relationships with key opinion leaders and key decision makers influential in the purchasing process
- Train and educate relevant hospital staff on Medtronic product portfolio
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life-science, Marketing or another relevant degree
- Sales experience from the medical/pharmaceutical/biotech industry preferably within hospital sales
- Strong business acumen, commercial awareness, excellent planning and organizational skills
- Proven track record of building a robust stakeholder network and maintaining strong relationships with customers
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Strong communication skills, verbal as well as written in Danish and English
- Driving license and willingness and ability to travel
Knowledge of the competitive marketplace and successful sales record in a clinical environment or Diabetes therapy or clinical/care-based experience would be an advantage.
