Job description

THE ROLE

We are looking for talented L2/L3 Systems Administrator to help us deliver world class support to our clients. If you have great customer service skills and excel at technical support and problem solving, we would like to talk to you about working with us.

Colombia - Remote 🇨🇴

Schedule: Sat - Wed - Starting between 8:00am/11:00am CST up to 8 hours of work.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must have excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Candidates must be self-motivated, have the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously, and have a proven track record in customer service.
  • 5+ years of experience in business IT support, Helpdesk or NOC.
  • Expert knowledge in Microsoft server and desktop operating systems including: Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Windows 10/11.
  • Great networking skills (configuring firewalls).
  • Expertise with backup/recovery systems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to project a professional, friendly image over the phone and video call.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems quickly and completely.
  • Must be able to work independently.

The Following Are Highly Desired

  • Experience with databases (SQL).
  • Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems).
  • Scripting experience (PowerShell).
  • Current Microsoft Certification: MCSA, MCSE or similar.
  • Systems Certification: Citrix or VMware
  • Networking Certification: CCNA, SonicWall, or Watchguard.

Responsibilities

  • Advanced troubleshooting Tier 2-3 issues and outages
  • Rebuilding Active Directory environments.
  • Deploy network servers and technology tools
  • Update security through access controls, backups and firewalls
  • Supporting client end-users via telephone, email, and in-person
  • Create concise technical documentation
