Job Summary:

As Tech Lead, you are part of the Data team that is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise business intelligence solutions at Onbe. You will be responsible for defining reporting standards, and building reliable, scalable, and secure reporting solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on technical skills and strong experience in data architecture, reporting tools, and performance optimization. This role will be required to be onsite at our Dallas location two days a week. The salary range for this role is between $118,000.00 and $130,000.00 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive the reporting strategy in alignment with the company's business objectives and data governance standards.
  • Design and develop end-to-end data solutions, including data modeling, data integration, and dashboard using Microsoft toolkit.
  • Implement logging and monitoring solutions for BI platform, provide visibility into resource utilization, and recommend areas of improvement.
  • Implement best practice standards on user management, release management, document management and data governance.
  • Actively engage and lead in product enhancement discussions looking for opportunities for improvements in product and process.
  • Actively involved in enterprise agile process with task identification, story estimation, prioritization and collaborate with engineering leads.
  • Architect a data solution with focus on scalability, performance, and security.
  • Mentor and guide other report developers on tools, techniques and development best practice.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 8+ years of experience designing and implementing business intelligence reporting solutions primarily in Power BI, SSRS, Tableau.
  • Must have extensive hands-on experience working with all aspects of Power BI including development, Portal integration, administration, and security.
  • Extensive Power BI administration experience including Change control, Release Management, Workspace Management, User Management
  • Experience with Power BI/Fabric licensing and Azure B2C/B2B setups, embedding Power BI App within external portal.
  • Experience on data modelling, database optimization, tuning and troubleshooting.
  • Exposure to SQL Server, snowflake and other cloud-based database platforms.
  • Experience integrating CRM tools like Dynamics 365, Salesforce into the enterprise reporting suite is a big plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of agile team, meet deadlines, demonstrate good time-management and multi-tasking in fast paced project environment.
  • Financial domain knowledge is nice to have

The base salary range for this position is budgeted for $118,000 to $130,000 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of proven experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, and market demand.
