Tripoint Solutions is seeking a Data Analyst to support our federal customer
Location: Remote. The selected candidate must be currently located in, or willing to relocate to, a state supported by Tripoint Solutions corporate offices: AL, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MD, MN, MS, NC, NJ, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, or VA.
The successful candidate will be accountable to
- Data analysis and reporting using the Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, Power Point, and Power BI) and other business and business intelligence tools
- Working with clients to elicit, refine, and document requirements
- Participating in client data calls, working with clients to determine reporting requirements, and writing technical documentation
- Verifying data quality to ensure accurate analysis and reporting
- Gathering requirements for reporting purposes
- Documentation of processes and methodologies
- Planning, prioritizing and executing in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment
- Make recommendations for data products and gathering techniques that align with customer's business and analysis goals
- Accomplishes department objectives by communicating job expectations and priorities, providing professional growth opportunities, and evaluating results
What you bring:
Experience, Education & Training
- 8+ years of proven experience in data analysis
- 5+ years of experience managing data projects and teams
- 8+ years of experience with Power BI is required
- 3+ years of experience creating data flows and semantic models
- Strong background working with Microsoft Excel
- Experience in SQL query development and general database principles
- Strong written and verbal communication on complex subject matters
- Able to rapidly respond to changing requirements and priorities
- Able to prioritize and multi-task across numerous work streams
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through
- Ability to effectively manage ambiguity, anticipate problems, and take decisive action
- Preferred experience with Department of Defense (Army Corps of Engineers)
Clearance Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance Required
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation
