  • Oversee compliance training and related programs to foster a culture of compliance.
  • Stay informed of peer company best practices and relevant global legal developments, analyzing their applicability to the company's activities and objectives and advising the business on how to promote the company's goals while complying with applicable regulations.
  • Drive creative, customer-focused, practical and proactive legal guidance enabling the Company to execute on its goals, objectives, mission, vision and values in a compliant and ethical way.
  • Collaborate across Legal and other departments, including Human Resources, Finance, and Sales to integrate compliance measures into business processes.

Skills We’re Looking For

  • At least 8 years of compliance experience, including in-house experience with a multinational company; experience with public company compliance preferred.
  • Experience developing compliance programs for a global company and ability to continue development, maintenance and improvement of Fivetran’s global compliance programs including effective policies, procedures and documentation.
  • Experience providing practical, flexible and risk-adjusted advice, with an eye toward business impact on a global scale.
  • A problem-solving mentality, willing to make a call and be an active decision maker.
  • Orientation towards process and operations, and ability to spot and act on improvements to systems, standards, templates, policies and practices that help reduce risk, remove friction, and propel the business.
