What Will You Do?
In this role, you will play a key part in designing, implementing, and optimizing machine learning models and data pipelines in cloud environments. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, using advanced tools to transform data into actionable insights. This position is based in Mexico, with the flexibility of remote work but requires occasional office attendance in Guadalajara, Mérida, Mexico City, or nearby locations.
We are seeking a Data Scientist with a strong background in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization, along with the ability to develop solutions in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. This role is essential for delivering value through advanced analytics and predictive models that support strategic decision-making.

Your mission will be to analyze, model, and present data to enhance processes and make strategic decisions based on insights, leveraging the latest technologies in data science and machine learning. What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for someone passionate about data science, with hands-on experience in data transformation and analysis, and strong skills in developing cloud-based solutions. You need to combine technical expertise with an analytical mindset and a collaborative approach to drive value for our projects.
What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be?
- Perform advanced SQL queries from scratch to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
- Build, update, and manage dashboards, data pipelines, and ETLs.
- Develop and optimize machine learning models using Python and/or R.
- Work in cloud environments, leveraging platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Create and manage data pipelines using tools like Apache Beam and TensorFlow.
- Use visualization tools like Google Data Studio, Tableau, or Power BI to create actionable reports.
- Implement data transformation and storage processes in datamarts using Python and SQL.
- Design and implement advanced machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, and neural networks.
Requirements
To Join Us, You Should Have:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist, with at least 1 year working in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Strong experience with tools and services in the cloud for data analysis and processing.
- Advanced skills in Python and/or R for data analysis and model development.
- Solid knowledge of SQL for database manipulation and querying.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Google Data Studio, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Experience creating data pipelines with tools like Apache Beam and TensorFlow.
- Practical knowledge of machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, and clustering.
- Experience in implementing ETL processes and managing databases (MySQL, SQL Server, SAS).
- Fluent English (B2/C1) to effectively collaborate with global teams and document processes.

- Experience implementing solutions across multiple cloud platforms.
- Advanced knowledge in data mart storage and transformation.
- Experience in the tech industry or fast-growing companies.
Location
Mexico: Guadalajara, Mérida, Mexico City, or nearby locations. This is a remote role with occasional office attendance.
