We build ethical, inclusive digital ID powered by biometrics to verify that health, aid, and services truly reach people. Simprints partners with organisations like Gavi to boost immunisation rates in developing countries, Ministries of Health like Ghana on pandemic response, and NGOs like BRAC to deliver maternal healthcare. Studies have shown Simprints increases impact through real-time, precision data, for example increasing maternal health visits by 38% in Bangladesh or accurate HIV tracing by 62% in Malawi. Today we’ve worked in over 17 countries helping deliver health, aid, and finance to >3M people. Our goal is to transform the way the world fights poverty, ensuring that every vaccine, every dollar, and every public good reaches the people who need them most.
About the Role
This fixed-term maternity cover role (12 months) places the People Operations Manager at the heart of Simprints’ employee experience, supporting a global team of over 50 employees across a range of HR functions. Working closely with the Chief People and Culture Officer (CPCO), you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing support for Simprints' team throughout this period.
A key focus of the role is to drive positive employee relations, develop policies and systems that ensure compliance with employment laws, coordinate our annual company offsite and help with organisational change initiatives that align with Simprints’ mission and values. You will help build the necessary infrastructure to ensure that Simprints’ HR support can scale with the organisation’s growth, fostering a supportive and inclusive experience throughout the employee lifecycle—from onboarding through development. Your work will contribute to a vibrant, values-driven workplace culture during this critical phase.

Department Overview
Primary Function: The People Operations team at Simprints is dedicated to fostering a positive work culture, supporting employee growth, and ensuring that the organisation’s People Operations processes and policies align with Simprints' mission and values. They are also responsible for attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.

- Ensure efficient HR processes and policies that align with organisational goals and values
- Attract and retain top talent through effective employee development and when necessary, assist with recruitment
- Plan and execute a great in-person company offsite, efficiently organising and coordinating our global workforce
Requirements
- Serve as a key point of contact for employees, addressing inquiries from employees and managers through the People inbox or Slack, ensuring a positive, solution-oriented approach to support and service.
- Ensure legal compliance in areas such as employee relations, organisational changes, and employment contracts, consulting with in-house or external counsel as necessary.
- Review, develop, and maintain policies, templates, and handbooks that ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation and alignment with Simprints’ mission and values.
- Lead change management initiatives related to organisational structure, roles, or employee transitions, collaborating with the CPCO to ensure smooth implementation and communication.
- Act as the expert user of our HRIS (CharlieHR), maintaining accurate and up-to-date People data and generating insights on key metrics such as attrition, retention, and employee engagement.
- Manage cyclical HR processes such as performance reviews, engagement surveys, and learning and development programs, providing resources and guidance to managers to ensure smooth execution.
