Job Title: Loan Associate - LATAM
Location:
Remote (EST Time Zones)
Salary Range:
up to 2000 USD

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (EST)

Position Overview:

The Loan Associate will support the US-based loan processors in managing a variety of tasks essential for maintaining efficient loan processing operations. This entry to mid-level position is designed for candidates with little to no experience in the mortgage business but who have a background in accounting, finance, IT, or engineering. The role requires individuals who are attentive to detail, good with numbers, and able to manage tasks across multiple tech systems with urgency. The role is primarily back office and requires a personality comfortable with behind-the-scenes work, good communication skills in English, and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in ordering appraisals and registering loans with lenders.
  • Ensure complete loan files by following established checklists.
  • Calculate income based on provided documentation checklists.
  • Communicate with various parties via email to maintain the flow of information.
  • Support in managing data across different systems like Salesforce, Airtable, and Notion.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support loan processing activities.

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge or experience in accounting, finance, IT, or engineering.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers.
  • Proficiency in using G-suite and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to manage tasks across multiple tech systems and work with urgency.
  • Comfortable with back-office tasks and behind-the-scenes work.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Industry experience in mortgage, underwriting, or accounting/finance.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Airtable, Notion, or loan origination/lender portals.
