Client Description:
We are partnering with a leading technology company in healthcare data management dedicated to transforming the healthcare system by improving quality and efficiency through advanced data analytics. This company offers solutions for data integration, analytics, and clinical performance improvement, helping healthcare providers manage and analyze large volumes of data to enhance patient outcomes and reduce costs.

Project Details:
We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with experience in Kotlin and Java to join our team for an migration project with a healthcare client in the USA. The project focuses on the migration of an existing tool, which requires analyzing the legacy code and redesigning it to not only support its current functionality but also accommodate new features in the future.

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot, along with API development, focusing on key aspects such as high security and strong performance. They should have experience working with both third-party and proprietary libraries, as they will be required to integrate the client’s libraries for functionalities like authentication and authorization. The ideal candidate must also be able to adhere to the client's established programming guidelines.

Profile Description:

  • Develop and maintain APIs using Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot, ensuring high security, performance, and reliability of applications.

  • Integrate and work with both third-party and proprietary libraries, particularly for implementing authentication and authorization functionalities.

  • Adhere to client-specific programming guidelines and standards throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features while maintaining compatibility with existing functionalities.

  • Analyze and work with legacy code to ensure a smooth migration of the existing tool, adding new features and improving existing functionalities.

  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring the application of best practices in code quality, security, and maintainability.


Core Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in backend development with Kotlin and Java

Desirable Skills (if any):

  • Experience with healthcare data systems and regulations.

  • Knowledge of data security best practices in cloud-based applications.
