The Senior Director, Partner Marketing at SugarCRM will lead the strategy and execution of all partner-related marketing initiatives, aligning closely with the SVP Partners as well as sales and channel teams in region to expand and strengthen our ecosystem of partners.  
 
Instrumental in elevating partner marketing efforts and driving Sugar’s business and partner ecosystem to new heights, you will have a track record of owning the development of marketing programs that drive awareness, engagement, pipeline and revenue through partnerships of different types, and ensure that our partners are equipped to succeed in delivering value to our shared customers. 

You Will (Responsibilities):
  • Play a pivotal leadership role, managing all aspects of partner marketing. You bring a deep understanding of building integrated partner marketing plans in addition to leading and scaling a high-performance partner marketing team who excel in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners to ensure alignment and shared goals. 
  • Work with our strategic and priority partners across the world to build and execute integrated marketing plans tailored to their GTM and our joint value proposition that drive partner-sourced pipeline and revenue. 
  • Enhance ongoing communication to partners through newsletters, social media, webinars, events and other channels, keeping them informed and engaged with Sugar’s partner value proposition, vision and offerings. 
  • Own and drive the strategy, planning, and execution of partner marketing development funds (MDF), ensuring effective use of resources to maximize impact and ROI. 
  • Act as the voice of our partners both internally and externally, championing our Partner vision, mission, and purpose across the organization and in the market. 
  • Work closely with Sugar’s field, growth and digital marketing teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to partner marketing. 
  • Define and track KPIs for partner marketing programs to measure program effectiveness and optimize performance, including pipeline contribution, revenue influence, and partner engagement. 
  • Report on partner marketing performance to executive and senior leadership, providing insights and actionable recommendations. 
  • Stay updated on B2B SaaS industry and partner marketing trends and developments and use this knowledge to inform your strategies and tactics. 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred. 
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing in senior leadership roles with 5+ years in a management role focusing on channel, partner and ecosystem marketing. 
  • Your experience working in the ERP market and with go to market strategies that are industry focused are an advantage (extra brownie points if you come from Manufacturing wholesale and distribution background). 
  • You are an exceptionally strong and creative partner marketing professional, who can demonstrate past success and strong impact on the business. Your track record speaks for itself. 
  • You have a bias for action with a willingness to challenge the status quo and drive change. 
  • Your natural strong executive presence, with the ability to listen, respond, and empathize with partners and customers brings people together to understand needs, identify options, form hypotheses, make decisions, and learn quickly through feedback. 
  • You understand that leadership in marketing is not just about big ideas; it's about execution. You are hands-on, lead by example and excel at fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning. 
  • You are a creative and resourceful problem-solver who excels in fast-paced environments. 
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform decision-making are in your DNA.
