The primary responsibility is sample management for 3 ongoing clinical trials evaluating the safety and efficacy of novel therapeutics in oncology patients. Management entails the tracking of patient sample inventories and coordinating sample shipments to Cullinan’s biomarker business partners. Additional responsibilities may include acting as the R&D business partner to Finance and Legal, with responsibilities including purchasing, financial oversight and contract management. 

Position Responsibilities
  • Clinical Trial Sample Management Responsibilities
  • ·       Manage and track clinical trial patient samples (inventory)
  • Work closely with the clinical trial CRO, central laboratory, and sample analysis vendors
  • Create shipping requests to the central laboratory
  • Identify and resolve any missing samples or discrepancies

  • Potential additional Responsibilities
  • Finance:
  • Create and manage purchase orders within accounting system (NetSuite); resolve any purchase order or invoicing issues
  • Collaborate with Finance team to support translational research team in quarterly accrual/reforecasting process

  • Contracts:
  • Submit contracts via the contracts management system.
  • Work with legal team and vendors to ensure standard business terms are in contracts based on Company guidelines (net payment days, termination clauses, etc.)

  • Candidate Requirements
  • BS Undergraduate degree+
  • 2+ years bio/sample management experience
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Microsoft Excel proficient
  • Highly collaborative with internal teams and external partners
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Finance and Purchasing experience from within a pharmaceutical/biotech research or clinical setting, nice-to-have.
  • Contracts management experience (consulting agreements, SOWs, CDAs, NDAs, MSAs) and experience with contract management software (e.g. Agiloft), nice-to-have.
