About The Role
As a Benefits Administrator, you will be instrumental in managing benefits operations for our clients and providing exceptional customer service. You will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, overseeing everything from health insurance enrollment to retirement plans and flexible spending accounts. Additionally, you will educate employees on their benefit options and assist with the open enrollment process. What You'll Do:

  • Benefits Administration & Compliance: Conduct research, troubleshoot, and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Data Management: Accurately manage and update employee benefits data within the HRIS.
  • Client Audits: Coordinate monthly client audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Deductions Management: Meticulously update 401k deferral and loan deductions in the HRIS.
  • Life Events Processing: Handle the processing of qualified life events with proficiency.
  • Employee Education: Provide support for employee benefit education and enrollment, enhancing their understanding of available options.
  • Reporting: Prepare and deliver monthly reports for clients, ensuring timely and accurate information.
  • Communication Materials: Develop and review materials to effectively communicate benefits information to employees.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulations such as ERISA, IRS, and HR laws, effectively mitigating risks.
  • Open Enrollment Support: Assist in executing the open enrollment process seamlessly.
  • Benefits Audits: Conduct comprehensive benefits audits to ensure compliance and efficiency.

What You'll Bring:

  • Educational Background: An associate or bachelor's degree in human resources, a related field, or equivalent work experience (preferred).
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in benefits administration, particularly in roles with direct client interaction.
  • Program Administration: Proficiency in administering various employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and voluntary benefits.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of benefits enrollment procedures, eligibility determination, and compliance standards.
  • Technology Proficiency: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with benefit technology platforms, with familiarity in HRIS (UKG Ready preferred).

The compensation range for this role is $28-$32/hour. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth and years of experience, certifications, and specific location.
