Chief of Staff

This is a full-time hybrid position; located in Florida, Georgia, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia

The Chief of Staff (CoS) serves as the right hand to the Senior Vice President of Sales, playing a key role in strategy, operations, and execution. This dynamic role requires a high-performing professional with strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. The CoS will manage key projects, enhance cross-functional collaboration, and enable the SVP to focus on strategic priorities by streamlining decision-making and operational processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Assist the SVP in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve organizational goals.
    • Partner with the SVP to set and monitor departmental KPIs and performance metrics.
    • Drive key initiatives, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Oversee the daily operations of the sales department, ensuring seamless execution of initiatives.
    • Assist in designing and implementing a robust, CRM-centered system to drive sales growth.
    • Prepare and organize materials for executive meetings, presentations, and reports.
  • Project Management:
    • Manage high-priority projects and ensure timely delivery of outcomes.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, operations, finance) to implement sales initiatives.
    • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the SVP.
  • Leadership Support:
    • Act as a trusted advisor to the SVP, providing counsel and insights on key business decisions.
    • Represent the SVP in meetings, as needed, and ensure follow-ups on action items.
    • Serve as a liaison between the SVP and other departments or external stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
    • Generate and present actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Team Collaboration and Communication:
    • Foster a collaborative culture within the sales team and across departments.
    • Communicate organizational and departmental goals to the team, ensuring clarity and alignment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in sales, operations, or a related role; experience in a Chief of Staff or equivalent role is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale projects and drive organizational change.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the IT or technology solutions industry.
  • Familiarity with sales enablement tools and techniques.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
