POSITION SUMMARY

As the Inside Sales Manager, you will be responsible for assigned accounts with primary responsibility of account revenue retention, driving revenue growth through GPO product contract portfolio within the Dakota region (North and South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Northern Nebraska and Eastern Idaho). This role involves developing telephonic/virtual customer relationships and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and fostering strong customer relationships to achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's overall success.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge: Acquired through education, certifications, training, experience.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of the US market, including industry trends, regulations, and customer preferences.

Level of Experience: 

  • 1+ years of proven experience in sales, preferably in a B2C and/or B2B environment.

Level of Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field, or equivalent combination of experience.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong phone sales acumen with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent virtual communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer service.

Travel: 10%

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Account Management and Relationship Building:
    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key accounts and strategic partners to maximize sales opportunities and drive customer satisfaction.
    • Support a multi-million-dollar sales territory in a remote, inside sales capacity, with a primary focus on retaining existing accounts by fostering strong client relationships, addressing customer needs, and proactively ensuring continued satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Conduct regular account reviews and identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and renewal of contracts.
    • Provide exceptional customer service and support to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer success. 
  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
    • Develop and implement sales plans and tactics to achieve revenue targets and meet or exceed sales quotas.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, lead generation, and networking activities.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product management, to develop and execute effective sales campaigns and promotions.
  • Market Analysis and Insights:
    • Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities and inform sales strategies.
    • Utilize CRM systems and sales analytics tools to track sales activities, analyze performance metrics, and forecast future sales.
  • Sales Operations and Administration:
    • Manage the sales pipeline, including lead qualification, opportunity management, and accurate forecasting of sales revenue.
    • Prepare sales reports, presentations, and proposals for internal stakeholders and customers as needed. 
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to sales activities.
