Purpose:  

The Director of Corporate Store Operations at Edible Brands will lead the strategic and operational oversight of corporate-owned Edible stores from initial acquisition evaluation to eventual divestiture. This pivotal role involves continuous assessment of potential store acquisitions and divestitures; leadership of District Management team and day-to-day store operations; and implementation of strategies to achieve profitability and operational excellence.  

Location: This position will work onsite out of our Corporate Office in Sandy Springs, GA Monday-Friday with up to 50% travel.  

 

What that looks like day to day:  

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the corporate store District Management team, ensuring effective management, operations and profitability of all corporate-owned stores
  • Lead and support all aspects of opening or re-opening new corporate-owned stores, including overseeing site readiness, coordinating resources, and ensuring operational excellence. This role may involve hands-on tasks, including physical or manual work, as needed to prepare stores for successful launches
  • Develop and implement new operational policies, manuals, procedures, and best practices
  • Analyze financial reports, identify trends, and implement strategies to improve profitability
  • Monitor and analyze store performance and compliance with company policies to ensure a high standard of customer service, quality, cleanliness and safety; identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to improve performance
  • Foster a corporate store culture focused on exceptional customer experience; address customer complaints and feedback and implement solutions to improve customer satisfaction
  • Analyze financial and operational performance, including detailed analysis of P&L statements and make recommendations for which stores to acquire and/or divest from Edible’s corporate store portfolio 
  • Develop and manage the budget for corporate store operations, ensuring financial targets are met
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, HR, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment and support for store operations
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment that effectively promotes employee engagement and development

 

Requirements  

  • 8+ years of experience in multi-unit retail management with in-depth knowledge of retail operations
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role, preferably overseeing a District Management team 
  • Proven experience in evaluating franchise store acquisition and divestiture opportunities, including detailed financial and operational assessments and P&L analysis
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining high standards of customer service and brand consistency across a geographically distributed network of stores
  • Proven track record of driving store profitability and operational excellence 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across the organization
