Job description

A French company based in Cape town is looking to recruit a remote Bookkeeper / Financial Administrator to work 20 - 25 hours a week. This is a remote position, but the client would like the candidate to be based in Cape Town to meet up once a quarter. 


Responsibilities:

 

  • Admin support to Head of Operations and Senior Partners  
  • Maintain and collate financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments 
  • Work alongside their accounting firm to Implementation cashflow report and review of the current sales report data entry process and tracking 
  • Track and manage all payable and receivable accounts – accounting firm will process the invoicing the payments
  • Administer the data input and tracking of the Client portals such as NIIT, Ariba, Coupa, etc.  for invoice submission and receipt of PO’s
  • Collation of operational costs such as automated debit payments, subscriptions, company credit card payments, travel expenses per programme etc
  • Current accounting system used: Zoho 
  • Administration support to Head of Operations and Partners 


Requirements
  • Relevant bookkeeping qualification
  • Proficient in MS365
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills to interact with team members and external stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines



Salary: R200 - R230 per hour
