WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Tealium is looking for a dynamic, results-driven VP of Product Marketing to shape and elevate our product story and positioning. As the leader of Product Marketing, you will drive strategies that help us identify key moments in the market that we should act on to drive better sales outcomes and customer engagement. This role will be close to sales, customers, and analysts to identify and understand key market trends - and how we can best position and optimize messaging. You need to love telling a story and how to package up technical content in a compelling way.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

Product Marketing

  • Messaging & Positioning: Develop and refine messaging and competitive positioning to support sales and market-facing communications. 

  • Thought Leadership: Establish Tealium as a leader with key audiences through events, webinars, content, and industry insights.

  • Product Launch: Lead product launches from concept to market success. Know how to tell a story around key features.

  • Sales & CS Enablement: Equip Sales and CS with strategies, tools, and materials to increase win rates, close rates, and deal sizes.

  • Competitive Analysis: Continuously analyzing the competitive landscape to keep the product team and sales aware of trends, competitor strengths and weaknesses, and key differentiators.

  • Content Creation: Developing content to support marketing campaigns and sales efforts, including blog posts, white papers, case studies, webinars, videos, and product guides.

Research, Insights & Management 

  • Customer Insights: Lead qualitative and quantitative research to inform brand and business decisions, amplifying the “voice of the customer.”

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, manage, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering growth and organizational effectiveness.

  • Performance & Reporting: Track and present progress on key metrics to stakeholders, supporting Marketing leadership on executive and board updates.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Sales, Demand Generation, and global teams to share insights and drive company-wide growth.

WHAT YOU BRING TO TEALIUM

  • 10+ years in product marketing for B2B enterprise software, with required expertise in SaaS. Demonstrated ability to drive impactful product marketing strategies in a high-growth environment.

  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role, with proven success in building, developing, and leading high-performing Product Marketing teams.

  • Deep commitment to enhancing the customer experience, with a track record of translating customer insights into innovative strategies that drive engagement and loyalty.

  • A creative thinker who is resourceful, detail-oriented, and highly organized, capable of handling complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • A team player with a proactive, self-starting attitude. Able to thrive in a high-energy, high-growth startup setting while demonstrating excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • A self-driven leader who embraces responsibility and ownership, consistently delivering high-impact results and inspiring teams to excel.


 

WAGE TRANSPARENCY

In many U.S. states, employers are required to include a pay range for posted positions. Although this isn't a requirement in every state, communicating transparently is a cornerstone of our operations at Tealium, and we believe in making this information available to all applicants.

The U.S. pay range for this full-time position is listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is eligible for a robust benefits package that includes the following:

  • Employees are eligible to receive an annual bonus and stock options. 

  • Employees and their families are eligible for medical, dental, vision,  life, and disability insurance. 

  • Employees have the option to enroll in our 401k plan and are eligible to receive contributions for company matching.

  • Employees are eligible for flexible paid time-off and extended paid parental leave. 

  • We offer 11 paid holidays annually with an additional Healium Be-Well break for most employees.

  • We offer 15 hours of paid work time for volunteer activities and programs. 

  • Our sick leave accrual is the following for our employees:

    • Exempt CA employees (not including San Francisco) including NY : accrue 40 hours each year. Unused sick leave carries over into the next year. Employees cannot exceed 80 hours in a given year.

    • Exempt Non - CA employees (not including NY) including SF: Accrue 1 hour every 30 hours worked. Cannot exceed 180 hours in the calendar year.

    • Non-Exempt: accrue 1 hour every 30 hours worked. Unused carries over to the next year. Not to exceed 108 hours in a calendar year.

Compensation Range: $200,000 - $275,000 Base
