This role supports financial institutions and field office and agency staff using the asset verification systems.
About the Role
This FCRA Support Specialist role researches completed asset verification requests within our web applications. The team reaches out to financial institutions to double check their work. The team uses 10 keys on a daily basis to update any incorrect information and uses file explorer, outlook emails and takes occasional phone calls from clients.
Our department focuses on the provision of asset verification for federal, state and county agencies who determine eligibility for publicly funded programs.
This role supports our Agencies and consumers in receiving the correct account information and balance history.
Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Central Time
This position can be remote in the US.
Responsibilities
Maintain relationships and provide support to field offices, agencies and financial institutions participating in the asset verification programs.
Contact financial institutions to correct or update previously responded to requests.
Meet productivity and quality requirements entering financial and account balance data provided by financial institutions.
Maintain required records in the completion of data entry tasks.
Conduct quality control reviews.
Meet contracted service level agreements, including response times, etc.
Assist in resolving and reporting any errors related to operations.
Assist in maintaining/updating documentation of procedures and reports.
Additional department responsibilities as required.
Requirements
College Degree preferred. High School diploma required.
At least 1 year of data entry experience preferred.
At least 1 year of customer services experience preferred.
Word per minute must be at least 50 wpm. A words per minute test will be given during the interview.
Microsoft Suite skills. Experience with Excel and Word required. Able to work with PCs and web-based applications.
10 key skills including the ability to pass a standardized proficiency test during the interview.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to the highest quality of performance.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Able to multi-task.
Extremely organized.
Able to adapt to new environments, adjust to situations or demands, and function effectively with a minimum of confusion or loss of productivity.
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Self-motivated, reliable, proficient at working independently as well as in a team.
Must be able to obtain SSA Security Clearance as a condition of employment/continued employment.

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for Hawaii and Colorado: $38,800 - 64,700 USD
The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for Maryland and Washington: $40,800 - 67,900 USD
The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for California and Washington DC: $44,700 - 74,400 USD
The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for New York and New Jersey: $42,700 - 71,200 USD
