Additionally, you'll track data and information to stay current on price trends and manufacturing processes, as well as prepares reports, charts, and graphs of findings.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze statistical and proposal data to establish recommended cost and price objectives for proposal and Subcontracts/Procurement transactions with suppliers.
- Review supplier cost or pricing data submitted, and all other factors provided by the supplier in support of their proposal in determination of RFP compliance, the coordination of a technical evaluation, assessment of FAR and Truthful Cost or Pricing Data compliance, establishment of allowability and reasonableness of proposed costs, and the evaluation of proposed profit/fee.
- Responsible for the cost analysis and evaluation of supplier proposals in excess of current threshold for obtaining cost or pricing data, in accordance with FAR 15.403.
- Compile and analyze cost or pricing statistical data from government or commercial databases, tables, and indexes.
- Conduct fact finding at supplier locations as needed to review basis of estimates and source documentation verifying proposal cost estimates.
- Provide the analysis and documentation to establish the adequacy of supplier proposals in support of SNC program requirements and proposal efforts.
- Establish reasonableness of cost and pricing and provide recommended price positions to support negotiations with customer and suppliers.
- Participate in cost and pricing reviews with management, customer, and supplier representatives.
- Use industry techniques and practices to conduct fact-finding (audits) to establish fair and reasonable pricing positions and negotiation ranges.
- Develop, update, and deliver training to procurement community in the use of industry best practices, SNC policies, templates and forms related to price analysis.
Must-haves:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and typically 2+ years of relevant experience
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Must possess project management skills including organizing, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating work assignments to meet project milestones.
- Must be familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) requirements in relation to Price Analysis techniques and requirements.
- Must be customer focused and possess:
- The ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret complex data and develop solutions to a variety of highly complex problems
- Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings
- The ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
- The ability to represent the company as a knowledgeable resource on external projects; and
- Excellent computer skills. Ability to work independently or lead in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours and travel as required.
- This position requires the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
Preferred:
- Experience in Price Cost Analysis.
- Experience with FAR/DFARS
- Knowledgeable with Accounting practices
- Financial audit experience
- Project management skills including organizing, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating work assignments to meet project milestones.
- Cost element evaluation experience (labor hours, direct labor rates, indirect rates, material dollars, other direct costs)
- Subcontracts Management experience is a plus.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $71,338.47 - $98,090.40. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
