Small Modular Reactors (SMR) Cost Estimator

RER Solutions, Inc., is accepting resumes for a Small Modular Reactors (SMR) Cost Estimator to support the Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED)’s mission to deliver clean energy demonstration projects at scale in partnership with the private sector to accelerate deployment, market adoption, and the equitable transition to a decarbonized energy system to join our superior workforce.   

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct Independent Cost Review for one of an Advanced Reactor Demonstration Project
• ICR team would conduct a Reasonableness Review, “consisting of a review of all documentation by an independent cost team, meeting with staff responsible for developing the program estimate, to analyze whether the estimate is complete and sufficient regarding the validity of cost and schedule assumptions and cost estimate methodology rationale

• Minimum of US Citizenship required to obtain client-issued Public Trust
• Experience cost estimating experience
• Experience or knowledge of small modular reactors (SMR) desired.
• Experience in Clean Energy desired  
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail, and an understanding of fundamental business writing
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree 

COMPENSATION: Includes competitive compensation and benefits package.
