Job description

Overview:

We're hiring! Kemin Industries is seeking a Sales Excellence Content Specialist to join our team. This role supports the Director of Sales Excellence by developing and managing sales training programs to optimize sales team performance. The Specialist will use digital and advanced learning technologies to ensure the training initiatives align with business objectives and contribute to revenue growth. Responsibilities include evaluating program effectiveness through data analysis, collaborating with business leaders to improve customer experiences, and potentially supporting training facilitation efforts. 

 

This ideal candidate will have experience developing content for employees or a workforce population, with strong communication and project management skills.

 

This position is fully remote. Candidates can reside in the United States or Europe.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage sales training materials using internal or external resources, ensuring content is tailored to address market needs and drive learner engagement.
  • Utilize established pedagogical frameworks to optimize training effectiveness.
  • Research and implement industry best practices in sales, ensuring the team is equipped with current techniques and methodologies.
  • Lead CRM-related initiatives, ensuring all governance decisions support key business goals and adhere to established time-lines.
  • Facilitate project progress and accountability.
  • Analyze training data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Create detailed reports and dashboards to illustrate training ROI and communicate insights to leadership.
  • Work with business leaders to deliver training that equips sales teams with the knowledge and tools needed for impactful customer interactions.
  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and customer engagement techniques.
  • Implement and execute training strategies that align with business objectives, coordinate with relevant stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with IT and Learning & Development teams to integrate AI-driven tools, micro-learning platforms, and other innovative technologies into training programs.
  • Ensure seamless technology adoption across sales teams.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Education and Experience:
      • Bachelors Degree in Business, Organizational Development, or Education with 5+ years of experience in educating. 
  • Proven experience creating training materials and integrating learning technologies, including LMS and AI-driven tools.
  • Skilled in adult learning theory and instructional design (ADDIE, SAM), focused on maximizing learner engagement and retention.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; able to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong data analysis skills for assessing training effectiveness and ROI.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English with ability to present trainings and ideas effectively to various audiences.
  • Detail oriented, organized, prioritizing skills and motivated by accomplishment.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Adobe Captivate, Cornerstone, PowerBI, Canva, Articulate or similar tools.
