PRODUCT DESIGNER (f/m/x)

EMBRACE THE WORLD: HOP ON YOUR NEXT ADVENTURE WITH US!

Welcome to Tourlane! We’re a travel tech company focused on providing fully personalized multi-stop trips to 35 destinations around the world and counting. With over 100 000 customers in the DACH region and France, we are on our way to becoming Europe’s leading travel company.

Our ambition is to revolutionize the travel industry and we’re currently looking for a Mid-Level Product Designer to join our team. This role will be pivotal in shaping the evolution of our Tourlane website, helping us deliver a unique experience to customers in a category that is ripe for innovation.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

In this role, you’ll work closely with our Marketing and Top-of-Funnel teams to craft high-conversion landing pages and key digital experiences.

Here’s what you can expect to work on:

  • Designing Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Initiatives: Designing and optimizing landing pages for SEO and marketing channels, applying data insights, best practices, and creative design solutions to increase user engagement and conversion rates.
  • Implementing Top-of-Funnel Projects: Working with the Cross-functional team to streamline the first interactions the customer has with Tourlane. You'll create UX and UI solutions that inspire customers to explore what Tourlane has to offer, and guide them seamlessly toward booking their next adventure.
  • Driving research and testing: Use A/B testing, user research, and analytics tools to inform your designs, implementing iterative improvements based on data insights.
  • Applying Design Systems: Contribute to the ongoing expansion and application of our design system to maintain a cohesive and optimized user experience across all touchpoints.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

Here’s the experience we’re looking for:

  • Proven product design skills with experience in UX, UI and web
  • Experience in Conversion Rate Optimisation & A/B Testing: Proven ability to design, execute, and iterate on A/B tests for conversion-focused landing pages.
  • User-Centric Design: Expertise in designing customer-facing pages with strong UI and UX sensibilities, always prioritizing the customer journey and user needs.
  • Data-driven Design mindset: Comfortable working with analytics and user research tools, to gather actionable insights.
  • Experience with Design Systems: Knowledge of how to implement, expand, and refine design systems to streamline and standardize designs across a platform.
  • UX, UI & User Research: Experienced in exploring multiple design solutions through wireframing, creating polished UI designs, and interactive prototypes, with a strong focus on user research and testing to refine ideas based on real insights.
  • Experience with B2C products.
  • Fluent in English. German is a plus.

In addition, here are the skills we are looking for:

  • Proactive Problem Solver: Strong critical-thinking skills and a solution-oriented mindset. Proactively communicates challenges and identifies improvement opportunities, proposes innovative solutions, and independently drives tasks to completion while effectively navigating ambiguity.
  • Collaborative: A team player who values feedback, thrives in collaborating with team members and stakeholders, and iterates designs to meet both business and user needs.
  • Clear Communicator: Excels in presenting design ideas with clarity, articulating decisions grounded in design principles, research, and data to align with UX and business goals.
  • Detail-Oriented: Attentive to both the larger business objectives and the finer visual details that elevate user experiences.

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • We value your participation in Tourlane's success and complement your cash compensation with a package of employee stock options (ESOP)
  • Flexible working setup to get the most of your working hours: we offer full flexibility in our Hybrid/Remote model. You are also welcome to take advantage of our lively Berlin office.
  • We share your passion for traveling: enjoy our generous work from abroad offering
  • Your wellbeing matters to us: we offer mindfulness classes to take care of your mental health, sessions with Nilo.health
  • We support all the diverse communities that make us Tourlane: join or create your own Employee Resource Group (ERG) and connect with Tourlaneans
  • Dog-friendly office: we can’t wait to meet your furry friend!
