The Team

The Hershey International Team (global excluding USA) is on a journey to double our business over the next 10-years by bringing more moments of goodness around the world through our great products and experiences.  You can join the heart of it all as part of the Hershey International Strategy and Marketing team (ISM) working with partners all around the world to drive strategy & performance, build global brands and deliver consumer centric products & innovation!  

 

The Role

  • As a member of the Hershey International Strategy and Marketing team, the Associate Manager Marketing Analytics is accountable for supporting this growth journey by leveraging the power of core marketing fundamentals and data analytics to drive business performance across key regions in the world.
  • They will work in partnership with regional marketing, insights and innovation teams to develop, promote and execute short-term growth and long-term plans for the international organization.  They will support, the success of (including but not limited to) global campaigns, partnerships, brand building, MarTech and regional performance management, etc.  They will promote a results-driven and collaborative culture with a focus on measurement and experimentation by fostering agile practices (test/learn, scale,fail fast) to drive real business growth.
  • The successful candidate will have a passion for data & analytics, technology and marketing, knowing that the combination is a key competitive advantage for driving our beloved brand growth, championing the consumer and enhancing marketing excellence. 

  

Working closely with international marketing teams you will…

  • Develop and Enhance our Marketing Capabilities
  • In partnership with regional teams and leadership, find opportunity areas supported with data to improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness
  • Leverage core marketing fundamentals, Martech and data analytics to accelerate growth behind our core brands and enhance global marketing capabilities
  • Benchmark industry best practices to identify key trends to exploit & pinpoint levers to pull within the strategy to maximize sales

Data Analytics to Enhance Marketing Activation Potential

  • Campaign/media analysis (ATL/traditional, SME, Social, etc.), in-year activation optimization and future activation optimization
  • Responsible for data analytics; existing marketing capabilities, new capability development,
  • developing a framework/playbook on how to maximize data to drive our growth strategy
  • Analyze market data on a regular basis to assess areas of opportunity across international regions 
  •  Support the development of our multi-year capability building and data roadmap and strategic vision

 
Reporting & Budgeting

  • Deliver International analytics and information dashboards that track key KPIs and financial metrics to help international delivery our goals (ex. financial dashboards, share dashboards, marketing dashboards, digicom dashboards) 
  • Manage internal ISM team’s annual budget

 
Skills & Knowledge Required:
• Proactive & passion for learning
• Proven track record of delivering results, sense of urgency
• Strong collaborator and influencing skills
• Strong communication skills; active listening and written/oral communication
• Excellent project management skills
• Strong analytics, ability to leverage multiple data sets to drive insights into action
• MarTec understanding and ability to learn as this area continues to develop
• High proficiency in Power Point, Excel, Nielsen/IRI or equivalent
• Preferred knowledge on visualization tools like PowerBI 

Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree, MBA not required but preferred
• Min. 2-5 years post-undergrad of progressive responsibility within CPG or related marketing field. 
• Strong analytics background
