Job description

This is a remote position.

About the client:

Our client is a fintech platform that provides founder-friendly working capital and financial advisory services to climate startups and SMBs. They have financed over 30 companies to date and recently launched their new CFO service to expand their support for climate entrepreneurs further.

Job Scope:

Our fintech client is seeking a Senior Analyst Credit to join their team. He / She will be critical in supporting the market research, origination, and diligence / underwriting of transactions. They’re specifically looking for a

candidate based in Pakistan who will work remotely.

Job Duties:
  • Diligence and underwriting of transactions (US-based companies to start)
    •
  • Drafting of investment memos and related analysis.
    •
  • Financial analysis and modeling
    •
  • Support in writing covenants/conditions and registration of collaterals.
    •
  • Conducting KYC and related screening checks
    •
  • Monitoring of investment transactions and dealing with problem credits
    •
  • Executive and investor reporting with related analysis.
    •
  • Supporting the executive team on other related projects as needed
    •

Requirements
  • Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
    •
  • Minimum of five (5) years work experience in credit/investment functions with a bank or similar
    •
  • lending institutions.
    •
  • Relevant work experience including startup/SMB lending or underwriting
    •
  • Detailed knowledge of financial accounting, analysis and modeling
    •
  • Strong project management skills
    •
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
    •
  • CFA Level 1 or more is preferred
    •
  • Impact investing background preferred
    •
  • Past experience working in Impact Investment, Climate Change or related fields preferred
    •
