The Team:  Risk Solutions is a suite of Product Lines that combines Data, Analytics and Workflow to enable market participants to assess, manage, monetize, and monitor credit and vendor risk. The Product Lines include the Credit Analytics desktop, RiskGauge desktop,  ProSpread, Scorecards, Supplier Risk Indicators, Entity Insight, and Analytical Services delivered through desktop, Excel, and Enterprise channels - Web Services, API, Feeds, Cloud, and 3rd party platforms.

Responsibilities And Impact: Working with the head of Go-to-Market and the rest of the GTM team, the Market Development/Go-to-Market Director supports the definition and execution of the market strategy and Go-To-Market plans to drive Risk Solutions business growth.

They will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Commercial (sales and product specialists), Product, and Marketing, to achieve business targets, monitor market trends and competition, and support the evaluation of partnerships to accelerate penetration and adoption of Risk Solutions offerings.

They are responsible for Go-To-Market initiatives including GTM plan creation and coordination across multiple functions like marketing, analytics, sales, and pre-sales, thought leadership, field readiness for new products and feature launches, development of event strategy,  voice of customer, and competitive intelligence – and for various operational and strategic initiatives across a year.

Experience with credit risk management is strongly preferred in either a B2B corporates (e.g., credit/risk, tax, treasury functions) or financial institutions (e.g., asset management, investment banking, insurance underwriting) context.

The Market Development/Go-to-Market Director supports the market development and go-to-market efforts of Risk Solutions in the following ways:

  • Market/Opportunity Understanding - Build a comprehensive view of the customer and their ecosystem across industry, use case(s) and personas. Identify market needs, size market opportunities, assess and monitor competitors. Continuously monitor market trends, customer feedback, and regulatory and industry developments

  • Product Strategy and Development Enablement - develop and share competitive, regulatory, and customer insight to support the Risk Solutions Product team in identifying and prioritizing new products and features. Provide ongoing market feedback to the product strategy and development process through client interaction, dedicated market outreach, and distilling feedback from commercial wins/losses. Support pricing decisions for Risk Solutions products and services.

  • Commercial Enablement – Develop and execute commercialization strategies that drive Risk Solutions regional and global ACV and revenue targets in partnership with the Credit & Risk Solutions Commercial teams. Ensure field readiness of commercial teams for pre-and post-sales activities, working with education and product specialist teams (train the trainer, collateral); supporting and monitoring commercial pipeline development and monitoring.

  • Marketing Enablement - Work with Marketing and Prospecting teams to develop brand and awareness campaigns, design and execute branded content strategy and executions, support commercially-oriented event strategy, and ensure front-to-back alignment with commercial and product teams.

Across these pillars, the Director should act as a cross-functional hub, ensuring "front-to-back" alignment between Commercial, Marketing, and Product teams on marketing and product initiatives.

Compensation/Benefits Information

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $118,094.00 to $207,348.50 Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in identifying and prioritizing market opportunities, driving business growth in partnership with commercial teams, building business cases, and managing products

  • Expertise in developing and delivering Go-To-Market plans, preferably for B2B and SaaS businesses.

  • Experience in credit risk management – either in corporate or financial institution context.

  • Experience with sales enablement and direct sales support through interaction with clients and prospects.

  • Highly developed project management and organizational skills

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Quick decision-making skills

  • Highly collaborative

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word
