Job Description:
Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as a Data Management Analyst and join our team supporting Defense Health Agency Pharmacy Analytics. This team supports all parties associated with dispensing outpatient prescriptions to DoD beneficiaries. We deliver information, analytic products and tools to the Pharmacy Operations Division, military pharmacies, a contracted PBM, and the pharmaceutical industry in support of health care delivery, clinical studies, and pharmacy program management, including policy development and metrics and performance management.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Compile reports and perform analysis related to pharmacy data and users (e.g. utilization, demographic, patient level, provider level, claim level, pricing, retail refunds, etc.)
Use various databases and analysis tools (e.g. Business Objects, SAS EG, Tableau/Lumira, MS Access, MS Excel) to collect data and present information
Contribute to the testing, validation, and documentation of all existing and new data elements in the pharmacy data warehouse. Identify and assist in resolving data issues with contractors whose data feed the warehouse
Provide end user support for data delivery tools and products as available in SAS, Business Objects, Access, Tableau, etc
Support analyses related to management controls and oversight (e.g. Fraud Waste and Abuse (FWA), Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP))
Handle all data and deliveries with sensitivity to guidelines and requirements for working with PHI and PII
Support team collaborative processes
Participate in team meetings for development, collaboration, and assignments, recording minutes as required
Contribute to development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures
Contribute to documentation of information/products provided to outside entities
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience
- Required Experience: 4+ years of related experience in data analysis
- Required Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Data analysis experience using Business Objects, SAS or Excel
- Security Clearance Level: Public Trust NACI(T1) clearable
- Required Skills and Abilities: Strong oral and written communication skills, Acute attention to detail, Strong data analysis and reporting skills
- Preferred Skills: Experience working with Pharmacy data, Experience with MDR and M2, Experience with MS Access and data visualization software (Tableau); Experience with Business Objects

The likely salary range for this position is $54,496 - $69,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
