Role description:

Design, develop, and maintain custom applications to streamline processes for the Commercial Enablement and Growth Community

Role accountabilities:

FOCUS:

  • Create user-friendly applications that address specific business challenges or needs using Microsoft PowerApps.
  • Create automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
  • Continuously evaluate the performance of PowerApps applications and Power Automate workflows, identifying areas for optimization to ensure smooth operation.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for all PowerApps and Power Automate solutions, including user guides, technical specifications, and process flow diagrams.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand user requirements to ensure that the solutions developed are aligned with business goals and user expectations.
  • Translate non-technical requirements into actionable technical specifications and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with the Tech team and Citizen Development team to ensure that the Power Platform solutions are aligned with the company’s overall IT infrastructure and strategy.
  • Train and mentor junior colleagues, providing guidance on automation tools, data analysis tools, and best practices.
  • Act as a thought leader by identifying opportunities to further automate and innovate business processes.

Data Analysis (if applicable):

  • Analyze large amounts of complex data to provide the business with fact-based insights
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Identify problematic areas with the data and research to determine the best course of action to correct the data
  • Develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly Sales Pipeline Report from Oracle Sales Cloud
  • Develop dashboards
  • Help translate data into visualizations, metrics, and goals
  • Descriptive and predictive analytics
  • Contribute, participate, and support continuous process improvement activities
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 3 years proven working experience as a PowerApps developer
  • Proficient in Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Power Query, DAX, JavaScript, and JSON.
  • Experience with data modeling, connectors, and data transformations
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at once
  • Ability to work under multiple tight deadlines and respond to last minute requests and compressed production schedules.
  • Ability to take initiative and exercise commitment and dedication while working independently or with a team.
  • Experience in working in a fast-paced environment with all levels of professionals
