At Humana, the Experience Transformation team is an experience-oriented, multi-disciplinary team that solves for customer needs while enabling strategic and operational goals. Joining our dedicated group of Product Designers, Experience Strategists and User Experience Designers focused on consumer experience and supporting our suite of digital products, you would be responsible to work closely with senior Product Management and Engineering Leads to shape product and business strategies. You will drive prioritization, planning, and decision-making across multiple product teams, while creating exceptional user-centered experiences that achieve business goals and exceed user expectations. The team is focused on integrating and developing best practices in usability, analytics, accessibility, and cross-platform strategy in an Agile development environment.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our products and services by leveraging your advanced knowledge of experience design principles. • Facilitate communication and collaboration between Product Designers, Content Strategists, Copywriters, and Researchers to ensure alignment of UX deliverables.

  • Build trust and consensus with key stakeholders, always representing the user point of view.

  • Ensure that digital principles, standards, styles, design patterns, and renderings are followed and represented correctly.

  • Strike the balance between the ideal user experience and the realities of feasibility and delivery.

  • Maintain deep understanding of the current product-business objectives, audience(s), roadmap, features, design trends, and best practices, research, metrics, voice of the consumer, and other measures, competitive landscape, and full Humana digital ecosystem.

  • Lead creation of early design sketches and end state design prototypes to help inform the user experience.

  • Understand and align to enterprise design standards, offering contributions to the design system when appropriate.
