At Humana, the Experience Transformation team is an experience-oriented, multi-disciplinary team that solves for customer needs while enabling strategic and operational goals. Joining our dedicated group of Product Designers, Experience Strategists and User Experience Designers focused on consumer experience and supporting our suite of digital products, you would be responsible to work closely with senior Product Management and Engineering Leads to shape product and business strategies. You will drive prioritization, planning, and decision-making across multiple product teams, while creating exceptional user-centered experiences that achieve business goals and exceed user expectations. The team is focused on integrating and developing best practices in usability, analytics, accessibility, and cross-platform strategy in an Agile development environment.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, create innovative, inclusive, and accessible solutions that cater to a diverse range of users.
As a Senior Product Designer, you will:
Develop industry-leading, high-value mobile and web-based experiences to simplify the member plan experience for multiple lines of business.
Translate consumer insights into modern experiences that meet our audience’s needs.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between Product Designers, Content Strategists, Copywriters, and Researchers to ensure alignment of UX deliverables.
Build trust and consensus with key stakeholders, always representing the user point of view.
Ensure that digital principles, standards, styles, design patterns, and renderings are followed and represented correctly.
Strike the balance between the ideal user experience and the realities of feasibility and delivery.
Maintain deep understanding of the current product-business objectives, audience(s), roadmap, features, design trends, and best practices, research, metrics, voice of the consumer, and other measures, competitive landscape, and full Humana digital ecosystem.
Lead creation of early design sketches and end state design prototypes to help inform the user experience.
Understand and align to enterprise design standards, offering contributions to the design system when appropriate.

Role Essentials
At least 5 years of experiences as a Product Designer, User Experience Designer, or Interaction Designer
A portfolio that demonstrates the ability to strategically create compelling user experiences that factor in business goals, development capabilities, design standards, and user needs
Ability to prioritize and stay focused
In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
Experience designing with business, technical, and design guideline constraints
Ability to adapt existing processes and deliverables when necessary to meet project needs and improve efficiency and quality
Demonstrated ability to design complex transactional user interfaces and interactions
Experience creating conceptual models, site maps, interaction flows, design patterns, and design specifications
Demonstrated experience in defining research criteria, leading or participating in user research, and translating user research into design decisions
Strong track record of iterating and delivering digital products within agile team
Experience creating interactive prototypes (e.g., Figma)

Role Desirables
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant design discipline (e.g., Interaction Design, HCI, User Experience Design), certification from credible bootcamp or similar accelerated learning program, or equivalent work experience
Significant relevant work experience may substitute for an advanced degree
Self-starter who can make significant progress with minimal guidance
Experience creating inclusive and accessible designs, particularly for senior adults
Ability to be flexible in a fluid and dynamic environment
Must be extremely well-organized and capable of handling multiple (and sometimes conflicting) priorities effectively
Proficient with Figma and Microsoft Office
Familiarity with online usability testing platforms such as UserZoom or Usertesting.com
Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Work-At-Home Information
To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$93,000 - $128,000 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
