Your Role

We’re on the hunt for an Internship Success Advisor to join our dynamic and mission-driven team. In this role, you’ll be the glue that connects our interns and host companies, ensuring smooth sailing through the remote internship experience. You’ll provide game-changing support to overcome the challenges of remote work, while also proactively equipping both interns and host companies with tools and strategies to succeed.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a knack for advising, problem-solving, and workshop facilitation who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment. If you’re excited by the idea of helping early-career professionals and host companies achieve their goals while growing with a global, impact-driven organization, we’d love to hear from you!

The role will start as a 3-month full-time contract role, with potential to become long-term dependent on performance.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Scalable Internship Support:
    • Provide consistent and repeatable support to both interns and host companies, addressing common challenges such as communication, workload management, and skill development in a remote work environment.
    • Leverage the weekly feedback loop and platform to identify and zoom in on weekly challenges while maintaining a big-picture view of the overall internship trajectory.
    • Signpost both stakeholders to the most relevant guides, articles, curriculum, and resources that address issues related to career management, technical skill-building, and soft skill development (e.g., time management, proactiveness).
  • Bespoke, Detailed Guidance for Unique Challenges:
    • Offer personalized, in-depth support when stakeholders face more complex or specific issues that require tailored solutions, such as misaligned project expectations, technical skill gaps, or communication breakdowns.
    • Collaborate with the Head of Internship Success and other stakeholders to create strategies that address these unique challenges effectively.
  • Proactive Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Actively engage with both interns and host companies to ensure challenges are addressed before they escalate, promoting ongoing dialogue and quick intervention.
    • Use insights from weekly feedback to inform decision-making, identifying trends and common pain points that can lead to broader improvements in the internship program.
  • Facilitating Workshops and Training:
    • Organize and facilitate workshops or training sessions with groups of 20-40 stakeholders, focusing on onboarding, common challenges, and solutions related to remote internships.
    • Lead interactive sessions on career management, soft skill development, and overcoming remote work challenges, ensuring stakeholders are equipped to navigate the internship experience successfully.
  • Guides & Resource Curation:
    • Curate and develop guides, both in print and video formats, to provide stakeholders with step-by-step assistance on common internship challenges and solutions.
    • Collaborate with the team to create and distribute curriculum-based resources that help interns and supervisors overcome career management, technical skill-building, and communication hurdles.

    How Your Success Is Measured

Your impact in this role will be reflected through key performance indicators (KPIs) that ensure both interns and host companies have a seamless and rewarding experience. These include:

    • Intern NPS (Net Promoter Score) – A measure of intern satisfaction throughout the program.
    • Host Company NPS – A measure of the host company’s satisfaction with their intern and overall experience.
    • Host Company Renewals – Rate of companies opting to participate in future internship cycles.
    • Internship Completion Rates – Percentage of interns completing the internship successfully.
    • Weekly Feedback Loop & Form Completion Rates – Consistent collection and action on intern and supervisor feedback.

    • Advising & Guidance: Experience advising on career development, skill-building, and internship success, focusing on long-term career outcomes for interns and project success for host companies.
