Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to be part of our delivery squad inside the API Tribe.

We want a colleague that is eager to learn different technologies towards delivering high quality software for building scalable, performant and secure API Infrastructure.

Our engineers design solutions, code, configure application, build automated tests, deploy artefacts in different environments. And most important they support one another, not only in this team and domain, but across the bank.

We will support you to become proficient at all those aspects and more. All we need you to do is to want it and work for it, side by side, with us.

Skills:

• 3-8 years of professional and relevant experience in area of software development and architectures
• Hands-on experience with cloud ecosystems run on Google Cloud
• Demonstrable experience with automated infrastructure provisioning based on Terraform, Terraform Enterprise or Ansible
• Advanced hands-on experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment and patterns for CI/CD pipelines
• Expert hands-on experience with Docker / Kubernetes operations with GKE or similar technology
• Advanced hands-on experience of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana and alerting tools like OpsGenie, NewRelic, DataDog, Splunk, Google Operations-Suite (Stackdriver)
• Very good knowledge of security capabilities (TLS, OAuth2, KMS, Vault, Admission Controllers, let's encrypt or similar technologies).
• Very good understanding of Microservice architectures and experience with API Management with Apigee or WSO2
• Experience in software development in at least one language (Java, JavaScript, Python, Go).
• Good Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle processes based on related tools such as
  • TeamCity, BitBucket, Artifactory
  • SonarQube, VeraCode, Crucible
  • JIRA, Confluence, Service Now

 Responsibilities:

• Hands-on contribution into software development efforts
• Model, Code, test, collaborate (to understand requirements, create stories, and design solutions), implement and help test requirements
• Collaborate with software developers, product managers and other stakeholders to ensure quality and consistency of API Platform and Product developments.
• Contribute to the development of testing and quality control processes and policies for the organization.
• Design solutions using common design patterns with a range of design tools and techniques
• Conduct peer reviews to ensure designs are fit for purpose, extensible & re-usable
• Design & build solutions which are secure & controlled
