As Sr. UX Designer II, you’ll apply user-centered design principles to improve the workflow, expand the functionality, and enhance the visual appeal of websites and mobile apps.

What you’ll do:
- Gathers requirements from users and stakeholders, defines information architecture, creates sample user personas, and documents user workflow
- Designs wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
- Applies the results from user research and usability testing to create new features and improve current features.
- Requires knowledge of visual design and wireframing/prototyping tools.
- Perform user research, usability testing, or facilitate focus groups.
- Familiarity with various graphic design software packages
What you’ll need to succeed:
- An active U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance (or higher).
- 7-10+ years of UX Design experience
- Experience working on web and mobile applications in a collaborative, agile environment.
- Proficiency in UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of usability principles, user research methodologies, and accessibility standards (508 compliance).
- Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and their rationale.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on solving complex user problems through design.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
