40+ is the number of employees in the Process Analytics and Analytical Sciences department. Join us in co-creating a new unit for the development of biosimilars at Sandoz's global development center in Ljubljana.

We are highly motivated and skilled experts, and we are looking for experienced, curious, inspiring Senior scientist AD Biosimilars (d/f/m).

Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Effective collaboration with members of the multifunctional project team, including presenting data and actively participating in solving challenges that arise during the development of similar biological medicines, as well as participating in the selection of the most advanced technology and equipment.
- Analytical development for similar biological medicines, including analytical transfers to production sites and management of stability of similar biological medicines, interpreting results, evaluating data, and forming appropriate conclusions.
- Documentation, explanation, and critical review of analysis results to appropriately guide the development of similar biological medicines, as well as preparation of analytical and other development documentation.
- Responsibility for preparing high-quality analytical registration documentation and interacting with regulatory authorities, serving as a technical expert for reviews, inspections, etc.
- Scientific, digital, and operational excellence.
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards (GMP), health and safety standards, and other Sandoz standards.
- Development of state-of-the-art analytical methods for monitoring critical quality attributes of similar biological medicines (e.g., HPLC/UPLC, LC-MS, ELISA, CE, particle determination...).
What you will bring to the role:
- MSc or PhD in life sciences with strong background in biotechnology, biology, biochemistry, analytics, pharmacy, chemistry or other related Life sciences.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in analytics/stability of biologics.
- Understanding of regulatory expectations and requirements.
- Excellent scientific/technical writing skills.
- Experience with working in interdisciplinary and cross-cultural teams.
- Strong soft skills, means the ability to communicate in an open, clear, assertive, organized and concise manner to be influential in scientific meetings and ability to work together as one team in a global environment.
- Scientific Excellence, Digital Excellence and Operational Excellence. Ability to implement new approaches and strives for improvement and simplifications.
- Active knowledge of English language required (oral & written).
Desirable:
- Expertise in ELISA analytics.
