About the Role

We are looking for a Storage and Virtualization Engineer to manage storage systems, support virtualization, and ensure reliable backups and recovery. The role includes troubleshooting, optimizing infrastructure, and collaborating with teams to maintain business continuity.

Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage storage devices, ensuring high availability and best performance for different workloads.

- Configure and maintain Cisco MDS switches as part of the storage network infrastructure.
- Manage and support virtualization solutions using vCenter and VMware technologies.
- Develop and maintain data backup and recovery solutions, ensuring regular backups, testing
restoration processes, and disaster recovery plans, with a focus on Veeam and Veritas.
- Assist in sysops operations with a good understanding of Linux systems.
- Troubleshoot storage and storage network issues, diagnosing and resolving problems efficiently.
- Collaborate with other tech team members to optimize storage solutions and support business continuity.
- Participate proactively in learning opportunities to improve technical skills and knowledge of data center technologies.
- Coordinating hardware procurement and preparing the LOM.
- Documentation procedures and services.
